Spring/Summer Semester Location · Flatiron, Nomad
Age group: 2-4 years old. This joyful and nurturing class introduces toddlers to the world of ballet through creative movement, music, and imaginative play. Rooted in the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) National Training Curriculum and inspired by early principles of the Vaganova method , the class focuses on body awareness, rhythm, balance, and listening skills in a developmentally supportive environment. Through guided movement, musical games, and storytelling, young dancers explore space, follow simple instructions, and begin building coordination and confidence. The class also encourages early social interaction and motor skill development—laying the foundation for future dance education. Led by an ABT-certified instructor , this program gently prepares children for more structured ballet training while fostering a love of movement and music. Optional in-class performance moments may be offered throughout the season, giving families a chance to celebrate their child’s growth in a relaxed and joyful setting.
