At Artshack, we believe art is an important tool for self-expression, problem-solving, and growth. This season, young artists will explore the world of clay, learning hand-building, the pottery wheel, and various tools. Alongside their clay work, they’ll engage in drawing, drafting, and sketching: essential practices that help children develop their ideas, refine compositions, and expand their creative thinking. Our teaching artists will guide students through a wide range of mixed-media techniques, including printmaking, felting, and sculpture. Each project encourages process-based art-making, where children experiment, make discoveries, and build confidence in their creative abilities.
