Dungeons & Dragons is the ultimate activity for anyone who loves telling a good story. In this group, teens will come together in small groups and use their roleplaying skills to create their own heroic character and guide them through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, and daring rescues under the leadership of their Dungeon Master.

Dungeons & Dragons has been making stories come to life for generations already, and your adventurer is invited to join the legend! In our most popular program at NY Plays, we introduce little heroes to the tabletop roleplaying game that started it all. Kids get to take on the role of adventurers in a fantasy world, completing quests and defeating mighty monsters. Besides being tons of fun, DnD helps our students develop confidence, mathematical literacy, communication skills, problem-solving, creativity, and more. If you’re new to the world of DnD, we’re happy to have you! Our Game Masters are experts at introducing new players to this magical realm, and all of our players are very respectful and helpful to newcomers. This group is built for adventurers in middle school, allowing them to quest and grow alongside other heroes their age!

Book a time with Calvin Agran and choose from below: Private Session: A one hour private training session with one of our expert coaches. After your child completes their evaluation session, our coaches will work with you and your child to develop a holistic program to address your child's specific strengths and weaknesses. Semi Private Session: A one hour private training session with one of our expert coaches designed for up to 3 athletes, for ideal results we recommend the athletes be of a similar age and skill level. After your child completes their evaluation session, our coaches will work with you and your child to develop a holistic program to address your child's specific strengths and weaknesses. Evaluation: A one hour one on one session beginning with a dynamic warmup, followed by a series of tests of your child's athletic skills. Th is evaluation helps us learn which specific areas your child needs to work on to take their athletic performance to the next level, as well as provide a baseline to look back at as they improve. Some examples of exercises we will test are Vertical Jump, Broad Jump, 10yd sprint time, 20yd shuttle, max pull-ups.
