In this class, we build the concepts of technique in both ballet and tap. We foster a fun learning environment as students are guided through creative ballet warm-ups steps and basic positions. They are encouraged to show their progress one by one during various parts of the lesson! We move from ballet to tap using a fun free dance activity and some stretching. The Tap portion of the class can be done with or without Tap shoes. Dancers will learn basic tap steps to make rhythms with their feet! After the warm-up, the class will focus on learning a tap routine set to a popular song. By the end of the semester are little movers are proud to perform their dances for family and friends. Register for 2 or more class semesters (either for the same child or for a sibling) and receive a 15% discount!
