Holiday Camp - June 5, Clerical Day

📆Fri, Jun 5 · 9:30 AM
📍Willow Nest Studio · 592 16th St, Brooklyn, NY
🏷From $150

About this event

This camp is a full day of fun with inspiration derived from illustrated story books and the magic of the park. Children are invited to experiment with natural materials, painting, printing and sculpting, fort building and creating small imaginary worlds. We spend half the day in the fields and woods of Prospect park (if weather permits), where children can run, play games, climb and make a mess with art materials (including painting with feet!), build teepee forts, play mud kitchens and make land art. The last hour of the day takes place inside in the Willow Nest art studio in Windsor Terrace where children have access to materials that engage loose parts, dress ups, make-believe play and light/shadow play. With each camp experience children come home with not only a small bit of art, but a unique experience all of their own, shared with the special group of that day. Class sizes are small, mixed-age and great for siblings!
