This Fall we look forward to another fantastic session of Kid's Art Club! Kid's Art Club is a class for children passionate about art- coming together once a week to learn, get messy and create through hands on experiences. In addition to creating art through various mediums, we will explore through our very fun "Mystery Box," and weekly scavenger hunts. We have planned a great Fall Semester, and hope to have many new friends interested in creating a fantastic Kid's Art Club on Wednesday afternoons! Kid's Art Club will be lead by art lover and Brooklearn Team Member: Zoe Lurie! Zoe has loved art since she was just a little girl. It was always her favorite subject in school- she loved exploring new materials and creating. Zoe graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2017. She is an expressive mix media artist with a heavy interest in collage. Zoe believes every child is an artist! She knows it's important for kids to be expressive and have fun with their artwork. She wants each child to explore different materials and find their absolute favorite. Zoe truly values process over product and wants for each child to feel a sense of accomplishment when they work. Her greatest goal is for kids to enjoy and love what they make. She is so looking forward to working with children at Brooklearn- following their interests and creating a creative and expressive art curriculum! Make-up Policy: To be eligible for a make-up class, Brooklearn must be notified via email of your expected absence 24 hours in advance.
