About this event

Campers become designers, decorators, and makers as they imagine and create everything needed for the ultimate party—from colorful decorations and handmade props to invitations, banners, and playful art objects. Throughout the week, artists will explore a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, sculpture, collage, textiles, and craft-based projects. Campers will experiment with bold colors, patterns, and themes while working together to transform the space into a festive environment of their own design. Along the way, they’ll explore ideas of planning, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. The camp culminates in a collaborative celebration where campers showcase their creations and enjoy the party they built from scratch. Let’s Make a Party is a high-energy, imaginative camp that encourages self-expression, cooperation, and the simple joy of making something fun—together. 🎉 Camp will run 9am-3pm, with optional early drop off at 8:30am and extended day until 5pm. Our camps have a max of 15 students per date. Three Private Picassos’ Art Teachers will lead each camp.

Budding toddler artists will explore paint, crayons, oil pastels, collage materials, air-dry clay and recycled sculpture in this process-oriented art class. Each week we'll explore a different theme, including but not limited to: NYC Outer space Female artists Children's literature African American Artists World Cultures Animals Opposites Under the sea This curriculum is a great introduction to a structured class for young artists, especially those getting ready for pre-school. We'll strengthen students' fine motor skills and ability to represent the world around them.

Toddler Dance Class @ Private Picassos Join us for a weekly dance class, designed for toddlers to move, stretch and play. Taught by Ava Golner, who brings over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages but with a special focus on young dancers. She earned her BA in Ballet from Point Park University, performing with Lake Erie Ballet and competing in the Youth America Grand Prix. Alongside her professional career with Danceworks Performance Company and Catey Ott Dance Collective, Ava has taught at numerous schools, including the Milwaukee Ballet School and Academy, where she began her training, and Cobble Hill Ballet. She is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers through a love of movement, creative play, and artistry.

🌷 Spring Clay Camp! 🌷 Celebrate the season with a hands-on spring-inspired art adventure! In this creative camp, kids will bring spring to life by sculpting flowers, garden friends, and adorable animals using Model Magic and air-dry clay . Artists will design their own clay flower pots , then fill them with colorful handmade blooms and spring creatures like butterflies, bunnies, birds, and more. With plenty of room for imagination, each child will create unique pieces to take home and treasure. Perfect for artists who love to build, sculpt, and get creative with their hands, this camp is all about springtime fun, texture, color, and creativity ! 🌸🐰🦋 Camp will run 9am-3pm, with optional early drop off at 8:30am and extended day until 5pm.
