FREEBodyweight Circuit Training
Tue, May 12 · 6:30 PM
Multi-Use Room - Full · Astoria
This circuit training class combines bodyweight resistance training and conditioning to provide you with a dynamic full-body workout.

This event will take place in person at George Bruce Library. This three-session workshop invites participants to explore the connection between visual art and literacy through creating decorative, nature-inspired alphabet letters. Using tempera paint and ink, participants will design illustrated initials that incorporate floral and organic imagery, inspired by historical and contemporary lettering traditions. The program emphasizes the role of letters as the foundation of reading and writing, encouraging participants to engage with words, names, or short texts as sources of creative inspiration while developing both artistic and expressive skills. No experience is necessary. Classes will be help on Thursday, May 7, 14, and 21. Participants are asked to commit to attending all three sessions. Space is limited, so please register to reserve a spot through the May 7 event page.
