A 4-Week German Language Atelier for Toddlers & Young Children At Little Mustard Seed NYC, we believe children learn best through movement, repetition, creativity, and connection. Hallo, Kinder! is a gentle introduction to the German language designed for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers, blending early language exposure with the warm, play-based philosophy of our Atelier. This is not a traditional language class. There are no worksheets, pressure, or expectations for perfect pronunciation. Instead, children learn naturally through music, sensory play, storytelling, movement, and interactive experiences that allow language to feel joyful and alive. Each class begins with movement and connection before transitioning into calmer moments of focused play and language exploration. Children will sing, move, play, hear German repeated in meaningful ways, and build confidence through routine and repetition.
