📍ColorPop UES @ 91st · 1289 Madison Ave, New York, NY

About this event

Kids will design and build their own giant hanging flower lamp that actually lights up, layering colorful petal shapes to create a soft, glowing sculpture they’ll be proud to display at home. They’ll explore how light interacts with color and form while assembling their lamp into a beautiful, functional piece. In the second half, artists will switch gears and sculpt a clay banana split sundae , complete with scoops, syrup drips, clay glue "whipped cream", sprinkles, and cherries on top—focusing on texture, detail, and playful realism. This camp blends design, sculpture, and a bit of magic, giving kids two standout projects: one that glows and one that looks good enough to eat! **Pizza included, feel free to bring a packed nut-free lunch
