In this hands-on robotics and chemistry adventure, campers will explore how robots move and react, while mixing in a little science magic. Through fun building challenges and playful chemical reactions, they’ll discover the connections between engineering, energy, and everyday science. 🔧 Featured Builds & Experiments: DIY Robot Hand STEM Focus: Human anatomy, mechanics, and motion DIY Grabber Claw Challenge STEM Focus: Simple machines & engineering design Art Bot Creations STEM Focus: Motors, circuits & creativity in robotics Solar Car Racers STEM Focus: Renewable energy & electrical engineering 🎯 What Parents Can Expect: A safe, supportive environment led by experienced STEM educators Emphasis on critical thinking , teamwork , and STEM literacy Daily updates and highlights from your child’s experiments Take-home projects and materials that extend learning beyond camp 🌱 No prior science experience needed—just big ideas and a sense of adventure! Campers should bring their own lunch, water bottle, and snacks. While we do provide snacks, we recommend packing extras just in case your child prefers something different. Mini Afterschool Science Series: Spring Sensory Lab (Ages 4–10) Featuring our favorite experiments from the Mini Scientists Afterschool Program during the week 6-Class Mini Science Series | Thursdays | 1 Hour Each Dates: April 18 – June 27, 2025 Hands-on science fun blooms this spring! Join our Mini Afterschool Science Series: Spring Sensory Lab , a playful introduction to real science concepts designed for curious young learners. In this engaging 6-class program, children explore the wonders of spring through hands-on experiments, sensory play, and early chemistry discoveries . Each session includes 2–3 themed experiments that introduce children to foundational science ideas such as reactions, mixtures, solutions, absorption, and observation . Students will also be introduced to a “Science Word of the Day,” where they practice fun vocabulary guessing and simple explanations—just like our Mini Scientists in the afterschool program! This series is a mini version of our afterschool science program , giving families a taste of our hands-on learning approach. 🔬 Class Schedule & Themes 🌱 April 18 – Growing & Glowing: Plants & Flowers Celebrate the arrival of spring with nature-inspired science and a touch of Disney magic.
