Spark Nature at Success Academy offers students a beautiful midweek reset from the classroom. OUR first afterschool program and we still maintain a presence here nearly 11 years later. Each Wednesday, Spark provides school pickup and brings children into nature where they can explore, move, and reconnect with the natural world. Our program balances time outdoors with creative studio work, giving students the opportunity to transform what they observe in nature into meaningful art projects back in our studio. At Spark Nature, we believe children thrive when they spend time outside, away from screens, building curiosity, creativity, and a respectful relationship with the Earth. This is the heart of Spark Nature.

Spark After School Thursdays

Spark's Thursdays are dynamic, expressive, and deeply grounding. Students explore drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media while learning yoga and simple mindfulness tools that support emotional regulation and focus. Our teaching artist Miss Samantha returns week after week, building strong relationships with students and guiding them through thoughtfully planned lessons that balance creativity with calm. With small group sizes, children are seen, supported, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. This program is ideal for kids who thrive with structure, creativity, and a gentle transition from the school day into the evening.

Spark After School Fridays

Fridays at Spark are joyful, reflective, and celebratory. This end-of-week program runs for 3 hours and is taught by Miss Grace. She invites children to release the school week through creative exploration, collaborative projects, and mindful movement. She intentionally slow things down while still keeping the energy playful—helping kids leave the week feeling grounded, proud of their work, and connected to their peers. Small groups allow for deeper focus, meaningful friendships, and individualized guidance. A perfect option for families looking for a thoughtful, enriching Friday afterschool experience.
