About this event

Create cherished memories and embrace the messy side of life in this hands‑on, two-hour experience for ages 6 and up. With multiple generations working side‑by‑side, you’ll create a treasure for years to come using simple techniques like pinching, slabs, and coils. Our skilled teaching artists provide all the tools, materials, and guidance you need, and we’ll glaze and fire your creations for pickup in about three weeks. Ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult during this class. $95 per person for each of the first two participants. Use the code "family-third" to register a third person (adult or child) for $80. Please contact us to register groups of four or more. This workshop is for adults and children to actively work together on their projects. At least one adult must accompany every two children. This weekly course offers children, ages 10-13, a complete overview of the potter’s wheel and glazing. All firing and materials are included and tools are provided. Open to all skill levels, but some experience with clay in school or afterschool classes is recommended. Students meet with their instructor Mondays 3:30-5:30 p.m. Participants will arrive on their own or with a guardian and self-dismiss after class. There is no walk-over or childcare service available. Classes take place at 16 Jones St.
