Colorful Creations: Kids Beginning Painting

For children 4-8 yrs It’s a magical time when your child takes up a brush and uses paint for the first time- Who knows where it will lead? But we predict great things! Our course curriculum includes everything a beginner needs to know, from how to choose the right brush and employ color, to how to create dynamic composition through a focus point. We demo color mixing, paint applications, techniques + cool painting styles. This is an excellent class for learning to appreciate the world around you and building observational skills, learning how to express yourself through the medium of painting. How to highlight shape and form, through light and shadow, and evoke mood + tone. In a full-class course, children will create their own finished canvas based on still-life compositions or pictures. that inspire them We recommend a full-class course for those who are serious about learning this craft. Single classes will only serve as a taster and a week-to-week curriculum is needed to see real progress. Total beginners are welcome + encouraged!
