Early Childhood Explorers Camp , located at the Brooklyn Waldorf School’s beautiful campus in Bed-Stuy, offers a nurturing, Waldorf-inspired experience rooted in the rhythms of the season. Each day includes seasonal crafts, storytelling, outdoor adventures, water play, and abundant imaginative play. Camp follows the gentle and predictable rhythm of the Waldorf school day, supporting young children’s sense of security and ease. Children will visit nearby playgrounds and may embark on short neighborhood walking adventures. Each morning, campers help prepare a simple snack together; families provide lunch and an afternoon snack. Please note: Campers must be fully independent in using the bathroom prior to enrollment. Daily Rhythm: 9:00 am – Welcome & Drop-off 9:30–10:45 am – Circle Time & Themed Activities 11:00–11:30 am – Morning Snack 11:30 am–12:30 pm – Indoor/Outdoor Play 12:30–1:00 pm – Lunch (outdoors when weather permits) 1:15–2:15 pm – Rest Time 2:30 pm – Afternoon Snack & Story 3:00 pm – Pick-up 3:00–5:00 pm – Extended Day Additional indoor and outdoor play with a light snack ($25/day or $100/week)

This hands-on course invites children to explore their creativity through the art of miniature making. Each week, students will design and build one to three miniature pieces that will contribute to a collaborative final diorama. Each class will begin with a short story, visual examples, or a hands-on demonstration highlighting how miniatures are used in real-world and artistic settings. Weekly themes may include architectural model making, building and destroying a miniature city, engineering models, miniature painting, educational museum models, film world-building (including the work of Wes Anderson), and behind-the-scenes views of stop-motion animation. Classes will conclude with a guided discussion and brainstorming session for the final project, encouraging students to share ideas, strengthen their creative thinking, and fully engage their imaginations.

Dynasty Breaking NYC’s Breakdancing Choreography class introduces students to hip-hop dance by teaching foundational breaking skills—such as footwork, freezes, basic power movements, and transitions—and showing students how to use these basics to construct routines to music. Through guided instruction, students learn musicality, timing, coordination, and spatial awareness while connecting individual movements into structured sequences. The class emphasizes teamwork, creativity, and confidence in a positive and supportive environment, helping students build both physical strength and self-expression as they learn to perform choreography individually and as a group.
