This program will take place in person at the Charleston Library. Join us for our unstructured child-led Early Literacy Open Play in our Children's Room! Meet other caregivers as we explore developmentally appropriate play materials in a safe, warm, and joyful environment. Extend your child’s learning through play! A great opportunity for socialization! Please note, this is not a storytime. Ages: Best for children ages 3 and under and their caregivers. Registration: No registration required. Capacity: First come, first served. We are located in the Bricktown Commons at 225 Bricktown Way and can be reached at (929)284-3660 during our open hours.

Join us to hear stories, sing songs, and get those wiggles out as you help your child build important early learning skills. Discover ways to promote early literacy at home and meet other caregivers in the neighborhood. Ages: Best for new walkers 12 through 36 months old and their caregivers. Registration: Online registration is required. When registering, please register each child separately by their name. There will be no waitlist for this program.
