Little Chefs Kitchen

About this event

Little Chefs at Casa Primary is a hands-on cooking class where toddlers and up are invited into a shared, child-accessible kitchen to explore food in a calm, intentional way. Working with fresh vegetables, simple ingredients, and health-conscious recipes—from homemade pastas to seasonal meals—children participate in the full process of preparing food from start to finish. With thoughtful guidance from teachers, children wash, chop, mix, and assemble at their own pace, building confidence, independence, and practical life skills. The experience is grounded in sensory exploration and real-world connection, allowing children to develop familiarity with ingredients and an understanding of how food is made. More than cooking, Little Chefs supports the development of a positive, lasting relationship with nutrition—encouraging curiosity, participation, and a sense of pride in nourishing themselves and others. Grouped by age-- modified and guided in small groups for all levels up to 8 years! Teaching children kitchen safety and teamwork.
