If you have a tech problem, question, or would just like some individualized tutorials, this is your time to work with a librarian and receive personal attention and instruction. Examples of computer help can include: Learning to use the internet and get help navigating websites (Ex: NYC and NYS agency websites) Help with email (ex: creating an email account, sending and replying to messages, sending attachments, etc) Learning to type using an online typing program How to access our free eBooks and Audiobooks with your library card Learning to use our Library Catalog and help with searching our Library Databases Learning to use Microsoft Office Learning to use Google Docs How to use Zoom and Google Meet Please register in advance for a session lasting approximately 30 minutes. The Library’s computers and internet connection will be available for use during this session. If you would like to register for a formal computer class, please visit nypl.org/techconnect. A Beautiful Mind (2001) Four Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Diector, went to this engrossing drama about John Nash, the volatile Nobel Prize-winning mathematician. Directed by Ron Howard. 2001 | PG-13 | 136 minutes About Reel to Read The page meets the screen at Reel to Read, a curated series of independent and classic cinema. These free screenings, hand-picked by librarians, local authors, and film experts, include a Recommended Reads list based on the movie. Admission to this program is subject to venue capacity, and pre-registration DOES NOT GUARANTEE ENTRY. Registered guests are given priority check in 15 minutes before showtime. After the event starts, all registered seats are released and all remaining admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis. We anticipate our space may reach maximum capacity before showtime. We recommend arriving EARLY to secure your spot. Being respectful of all attendees, admittance in the program room will not be allowed 15 minutes after the start of the movie.
