Fridays at Spark are joyful, reflective, and celebratory. This end-of-week program runs for 3 hours and is taught by Miss Grace. She invites children to release the school week through creative exploration, collaborative projects, and mindful movement. She intentionally slow things down while still keeping the energy playful—helping kids leave the week feeling grounded, proud of their work, and connected to their peers. Small groups allow for deeper focus, meaningful friendships, and individualized guidance. A perfect option for families looking for a thoughtful, enriching Friday afterschool experience.

Spark - 199 Spring Fridays

Spark Fridays at PS 199 offer a vibrant three hour after school experience designed to give children the perfect balance of creativity, movement, and mindful connection at the end of the week. From April through June, Miss Grace will lead students j for 12 weeks of engaging art projects, yoga and meditation, and time outside. Each session is thoughtfully structured to help children unwind from the school day, express themselves creatively, and build focus and confidence in a warm, supportive environment and most importantly, have fun! It is a joyful way to end the week with imagination, movement, and community. Program runs April 3rd through June 19th.
