About this event

Our After School program is designed for kids aged 4 - 10 (preK - 5th grade) who love to create, explore and think outside the box. Class Experience: Our classes are all about process over perfection; where kids are free to explore, take risks and express themselves. We go outside to gather inspirations when possible Children will explore a wide range of materials and techniques—experimenting with painting, sculpture, collage, printmaking, and more, through both traditional and un-traditional art-making processes Our highly educated teaching artists gently guide and ask thoughtful questions to help expand each child's creativity. Sample Schedule 2:30–3:30: Pickup & snack 3:30–4:15: Art activity #1 4:15–4:30: Break and stretching 4:30–5:15: Art activity #2 5:15-5:30: wrap-up & pick up Notes: We offer pickup from local schools and bus stops within walking distance. For a smooth and safe pick-up, please submit your child’s pick-up information at least 3 days in advance BUS SERVICE from PS384 for a small fee ($10/kid/day) (100% of this cost is bus fee) Our program follows the NYC DOE calendar and runs on all days when NYC public schools are in session.
