About this event

This intermediate level class is ideal for students who have taken at least 2-3 years of ballet classes. Students will continue to refine and correct their posture, placement and turn out, while further developing their knowledge of complex positions of the body, coordination with port de bras, strength, musicality, and artistry. Note that this is an open Dancewave Company Program class, all are welcome to join. This class is ideal for students who have taken at least 1-2 years of modern or contemporary dance classes, or are looking to jump in for the first time. Students will build upon basic dance vocabulary to refine their strength, release, groundedness and suspension, while further developing their technical skills, knowledge of terminology, musicality and spatial awareness. If you're looking to jump back into dance after a hiatus or find your groove for the first time, this class is for you!
