About this event
Get ready to go camping! We’ll make art inspired by our favorite camping traditions, play in the back yard and go on an imaginary camping trip! Camp will run 9am-3pm, with optional early drop off at 8:30am and extended day until 5pm. Our camps have a max of 15 students per date. Three Private Picassos’ Art Teachers will lead each camp.

Let your toddler explore baby-safe art supplies in our unstructured Art Playgroup! Each week, we'll set up a new art prompt at our large tables for your child to explore. Think homemade play dough, liquid watercolors paintings, yogurt & food coloring finger paint and faux stained glass collages. Whenever your toddler is ready to move their body, they can switch tothe floor, where each week we arrange dot markers, stickers, giant crayons and sensory materials for kids to explore. This playgroup is perfect for babies who are still exploring with their mouth. Come dressed for a mess! Just a reminder that this playgroup is an unstructured art program and is not guided by our Art Teacher.

Each week we'll explore a different theme, including but not limited to: NYC Outer space Female artists Children's literature African American Artists World Cultures Animals Opposites Under the sea This curriculum is a great introduction to a structured class for young artists, especially those getting ready for pre-school. We'll strengthen students' fine motor skills and ability to represent the world around them.
