📆Tue, May 19 · 3:15 PM
📍The Brooklyn Waldorf School · 11 Jefferson Ave, Brooklyn, NY
🏷From $832

About this event

In this class, children will first explore the art of screen acting through fun on-camera exercises. They will learn how to identify the circumstances of a scene, develop unique characters, and work with a scene partner, all under the pressure of a rolling camera. As the course progresses, students will have the unique opportunity to embody the role of writer/director by creating a storyboard for their very own 2-minute movie, which they will then have the opportunity to shoot with the help of their peers! Each child will rotate through different roles to bring their peers' projects to fruition: with opportunities for both acting and working behind the camera. Each child's final project will be professionally edited by the end of the course.
