Created by and for homeschool families - where kids learn through play, connection, and the changing seasons alongside their grown-ups. Each week, families gather for a 1.5-hour class that blends gentle structure with open-ended exploration. Each class includes: 📖 Story Time 🔎 Group Activity or Scavenger Hunt 🎶 Music & Movement 🧺 Bring-Your-Own Picnic Lunch 🌿 Nature-Based Hands-On Learning & Open Play This is a grown-up-and-me class — caregivers stay and participate alongside their children, helping to create a supportive and collaborative space for everyone. What makes this program truly special is our community-created curriculum : each week, a parent volunteers to lead the story and activity based on a theme of their choice. It's a chance to share passions, spark creativity, and build something meaningful—together. 👉 At the first class, there will be a sign-up sheet for parents to volunteer for the week they’d like to lead. A group text will be created to share ideas and plan weekly themes together. Perfect for families seeking a gentle rhythm, joyful learning, and real connections in the great outdoors. This class requires a 6-week commitment to build friendships and create a true sense of community. If you are unable to attend a specific date, a makeup class can be scheduled at one of our regular classes. Classes take place year-round and in all weather, rain, snow, or sun, as long as the “RealFeel” or “Feels Like” temperature is between ~20 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. We begin each class with music and a seasonal activity to encourage socialization and get kids warmed up. Then, we’ll head into our fenced play space for unstructured play and exploration. Some activities include: mud kitchen obstacle course water play dig areas sensory tables discovery zones and more! Come prepared to get your hands dirty and feet wet! Dress for the weather and in clothes you don't mind your child getting messy in. Some kids get messier than others, so you may want to bring a change of clothes. The ground may be wet and muddy in some spots. Please wear appropriate shoes.
