SHSAT Ascent Course (spring/fall) (for second semester 7th graders) Bee Tutored's Ascent Course is ideal for the second semester 7th grader and rising 8th grader. Ascent is a “practice forward” course that places emphasis on iterative practice and vetted strategy as a means of achieving optimal SHSAT success. Course curriculum includes a unique combination of test-taking strategies such as time management, elimination techniques/answer traps, targeted practice with new exam-related topics, steps to breaking down challenging problems and techniques to reduce test anxiety. Embedded in this course is personalized, differentiated strategy building that optimizes performance for every Bee Tutored student. The course includes: 14, 1.5 hour classes, 1 diagnostic, 2 mock exams+analysis, and comprehensive lessons + guided practice provided by Bee Tutored’s experienced SHSAT instructors.
