Team members gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, advanced programming, strategic game analysis, engineering documentation, project management, and leadership. Elite Team students will: Design, build, and program competition robots using the VEX IQ platform Learn advanced engineering and programming concepts through real-world applications Develop skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, and project management Maintain engineering notebooks and participate in design reviews Analyze game strategy, conduct testing, and optimize robot performance Compete in 6β7 local VEX IQ tournaments throughout the season Represent our organization at the New Jersey State Championship and selected out-of-state events Pursue a qualification for the VEX Robotics World Championship This program is best suited for students who are serious about robotics and STEM excellence. It provides an exceptional foundation for future studies in engineering, computer science, and technology while helping students develop the discipline, resilience, and leadership skills required for success in highly competitive academic and professional environments.
