Lapsit Storytime: Babies and Books

About this event

Join us for a special time to bond with your little one and meet other caregivers. We will explore the joys of books, songs, and gentle movement in addition to building early learning skills you can practice at home. Come prepared to sit with your child on your lap. Best for children who are pre-walkers and who prefer a gentle, slow-paced program. ***HOW TO REGISTER*** 8 spots will be open for online registration each week, and another 8 spots will be held for walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please register under the child's name. Tickets for walk-ins will be given out at 11 AM at the entrance to the library on the day of the program. Tickets for a waitlist will also be given out. If there are still spots available after 11:20 AM, families will be moved from the waitlist into the story time. The child must be present with their caregiver at the time of check-in. Online registrants must check-in by 11:20 AM at the entrance to the library. If you do not check-in by 11:20 AM, your spot will be given to a family on the waitlist. Online Registration will open one week in advance at 2 PM and will remain open until the 8 spots are filled.
