About this event

For children ages 4 to 6, this class offers a deeper engagement with the Chinese language through stories, songs, purposeful play, art activities and early literacy activities. In addition to listening and speaking, children begin to recognize and write simple Chinese characters in fun and meaningful ways. Our curriculum also weaves math and science concepts into language learning, helping children connect Chinese to the world around them. The program nurtures independence, concentration, and cultural appreciation while building confidence and curiosity as young language learners. Music & Songs: Singing and movement-based activities to reinforce daily vocabulary. Daily Words & Phrases: Common expressions, greetings, and simple sentences.Interactive Activities – Storytelling, role-play, and hands-on games to spark curiosity. Math & Science: Through instruction in Mandarin, children will develop foundational math skills such as counting and basic calculations, along with an introduction to essential scientific concepts. The program aims to enhance their ability to apply Mandarin in meaningful, real-life contexts while fostering curiosity and critical thinking. Listening & Comprehension: Encouraging natural language acquisition through repetition and visual aids.
