Enrolling for September 2026! Our morning preschool program designed for toddlers ready to practice a gentle preschool experience. Perfect for families with full-time caregivers looking to add consistent peer socialization and early learning to their child's week. Our Fall semester will offer a part-time schedule, Monday - Thursday with Fridays off with a possibility of a full-week Monday - Friday program Spring 2027, based on the demand and need of the community. Daily Schedule: 👋 8:30am-9:00am: Drop Off 📖 9:00am-9:20am : Circle Time (songs, stories, interactive/dramatic play) 🎨 9:20am-9:55am: Preschool Enrichment Class (art, dance, music, nature exploration) 👏 9:55am–10:10am: Bathroom Break & Wash Hands 🍉 10:10am–10:30am: Snack 🧠 10:30am–10:50am : Child-led Discovery ☀️ 10:50am–11:20am: Outdoor Play 👋 11:20am–11:30am: Pick Up Designed with flexibility in mind, families can select the days that best fit their routine— sign up for any two days or join for the full four-day enrichment experience. Discovery Kids Pre-K Afterschool at PS 770 Give your child a fun, nurturing, and enriching end to their school day with Discovery Kids Pre-K Afterschool at PS 770! Designed specifically for Pre-K students, our program provides a safe and engaging environment where children can learn, create, play, and build friendships. Each afternoon includes a balance of hands-on enrichment, creative expression, movement, and social-emotional learning. Children will enjoy age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, STEM exploration, music and movement, dramatic play, sensory activities, outdoor play, and cooperative games that encourage curiosity, confidence, and independence. Our experienced and caring instructors create a warm classroom community where every child feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to explore a variety of interests. Tuesday – Soccer ⚽ Young athletes build coordination, teamwork, and confidence through age-appropriate soccer activities, games, and movement challenges. Wednesday – STEM Explorers 🧪 Students investigate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts through hands-on experiments, building challenges, and discovery-based learning. Thursday – Theater & Film 🎭 Families choose Theater or Film class - children bring stories to life through dramatic play, creative movement, character development, and introductory filmmaking activities. Friday – Game Lab or Bilingual Arts 🎲 Depending on enrollment, students will either enjoy Game Lab, featuring cooperative games and social-emotional learning activities, or Bilingual Arts, where children explore language and culture through creative projects and storytelling. Fingerplays, tummy-time and books, Oh My! A special 40-minute program of stories, rhymes and songs geared specifically for the youngest children who are not yet walking. Only pre-walkers will be admitted. Please be mindful of our age limits--they will be strictly enforced. Please be advised, doors will be closed promptly upon the start of the program. No late admittance. Small groups and daycares must contact the library in advance to schedule a storytime visit.

Tickets will be distributed at the info desk Thursday mornings. Small groups and daycares must be scheduled in advance. Storytime fills up quickly. To ensure admittance please arrive on time. Doors open at 10:25 am and close promptly at 10:30 am.
