mr. RAY's Music Show for Kids

About this event

mr. RAY performs his own songs about kindness, being creative, having good manners, staying healthy & active, learning the days of the week, friendly character animal songs with messages of acceptance...as well as kids' classic songs. He’ll also be playing short samples of instruments & musical styles from his phone, hooked up to his sound system, so the kids can hear and get excited about how cool & distinctive musical genres from rock, jazz, country, classical, etc…..and instruments, can be! He invites kids to come up and pick out a percussive instrument like tambourines and shakers, from his bag and jam out with him on a few songs. He talks a bit about the ins and outs of his guitar, melody and rhythm, and how he creates his own songs and encourage them to use their imagination to create art, music or dance.
