About this event

This event will take place at the St. George Library. The Song Circle is a new acoustic song interest group for adults who enjoy singing, sharing, and listening to songs with other participants. Sessions will take place on the following Saturdays from 2:30-4:30pm: January 24th, 2026, February 28th , 2026, March 28th, 2026, April 25th, 2026, May 16th, 2026, June 27th, 2026, July 25th, 2026 August 22nd, 2026 and consist of round-robin singing of Folk, Pop World Music and other genres. Non-amplified, acoustic instrumental accompaniment may be used with songs. All levels of singing expertise from amateurs to accomplished are welcome as well as those who just want to listen. *This is a non-commercial group; sales of any kind are not permitted*

The New York Public Library partners with accredited social work colleges across the city to connect you with students who can help provide resources about social services -- housing, short-term shelter, food assistance, healthcare, and more -- in your community. During the listed hours you can drop in to meet with the student intern one-on-one (first come, first served). The Spring semester ends May 16. Check back in September for Fall semester hours.
