About this event

Our After School program is designed for kids aged 4 - 10 (preK - 5th grade) who love to create, explore and think outside the box. Class Experience: Our classes are all about process over perfection; where kids are free to explore, take risks and express themselves. We go outside to gather inspirations when possible Children will explore a wide range of materials and techniques—experimenting with painting, sculpture, collage, printmaking, and more, through both traditional and un-traditional art-making processes Our highly educated teaching artists gently guide and ask thoughtful questions to help expand each child's creativity. Sample Schedule 2:30–3:30: Pickup & snack 3:30–4:15: Art activity #1 4:15–4:30: Break and stretching 4:30–5:15: Art activity #2 5:15-5:30: wrap-up & pick up Notes: We offer pickup from local schools and bus stops within walking distance. For a smooth and safe pick-up, please submit your child’s pick-up information at least 3 days in advance BUS SERVICE from PS384 for a small fee ($10/kid/day) (100% of this cost is bus fee) Our program follows the NYC DOE calendar and runs on all days when NYC public schools are in session. Flexible pricing options are available: Drop-In: Join anytime—no commitment required. Subject to availability Class Packs: Build your own semester with discounted multi-class packs Full Semester Package: Commit to a full semester for a discounted rate and exclusive benefits :: 1 day a week $90/day :: 2-3 days a week ~$81/day (10% off) :: 4-5 days a week ~$58/day (35% off) :: 15% discount on School-Year Camp Days :: Offer early pick-up on Parent-Teacher Days ** (please pack lunch for your child on these days) What to bring: nut-free snacks refillable water bottle (* Free Trial Class can’t be rescheduled) (** Parent-Teacher Conference days are days when dismissal is around noon. Class Experience: In this class, children will explore a wide range of materials and techniques—experimenting with painting, sculpture, collage, printmaking, and more, through both traditional and un-traditional art-making processes Our experienced teaching artists gently guide each child, introducing art concepts while encouraging them to follow their intuition, embrace their individuality, and express their ideas with confidence. This is a space where creative thinking is celebrated—where children are encouraged to take risks, think outside the box, and bring their boldest ideas to life. Notes: This is a drop-off class. Adult participation is not required.
