About this event

Montessori Work Cycle The Montessori Work Cycle at Casa Primary is an uninterrupted period of focused work within a carefully prepared environment. During this time, children are thoughtfully introduced to materials across foundational areas—such as early literacy, math, and practical life—through demonstration by our Guides (certified teachers). Once introduced, children are given the space to choose their work and deepen their engagement over time. This uninterrupted rhythm allows for concentration to build naturally, supporting the development of independence, coordination, and early academic readiness. Structured with intention, the Work Cycle fosters confidence, problem-solving, and a sense of ownership in learning—creating the conditions for meaningful skill development and an innate love for learning at each stage. With guidance from teachers, children measure, mix, knead, and shape—engaging in the full baking process while developing fine motor skills, patience, and attention to detail. The experience is sensory-rich, from the aroma of cinnamon and vanilla to the texture of dough in their hands.
