Chess I (Spring 2026)
Mon, Apr 27 · 3:15 PM
The Brooklyn Waldorf School · Bedford-Stuyvesant
In Chess, students will develop long-term strategic thinking and shorter-term tactical motifs. Beginners will start with non-chess games that build foundational skills, while more experienced players will dive into advanced-beginner techniques and strategic thinking from the start. The measure of success for the class will be an encouraged state of curiosity around chess, such that children will take their desire to play from the classroom into their everyday lives.
